PENTAGRAMMA – Music workshop

No language is more universal than music and since ours is a workshop through which we approach or deepen our appreciation of the Italian language and its culture, music and songs, the sound of one or more instruments can help us to navigate and savour the elegance and complexity of our language with ease and enjoyment, taking the first steps in the study of Italian

Music is a great way to learn a language because it stimulates memory, improves pronunciation, expands vocabulary and knowledge of idiomatic expressions, can be heard and sung everywhere and is a window onto other cultures.

Music unites cultures and breaks down barriers.

The musicians will accompany us to discover the Italian language and culture, through listening to songs or musical genres, reading and studying the lyrics of the songs, organising live music events in person – in Sheffield, or online by video.

Nothing like music speaks to all our senses and we will create moments in which, without even realising it, we will find ourselves immersed in the greatness of Italian music and the infinite colours of beautiful Italy.

The groups will have a minimum of four to a maximum of six students.

Each lesson will last one and a half hours.

The course will be monthly and organised for the different levels of knowledge of the Italian language.
The workshops can be organised in person, in Sheffield, or followed online from the comfort of your home.
